I do think that the Atkins diet can be dangerous if not followed correctly ! If while consuming large amount of animal protiens and fats one should continuously and/or sporaticaly eat sugars or refined carbs a storage of fats will accur and all to often a pre existing metabolic imbalance can have the same affect with people actually gaining weight! Ohter problems arise of course from the meat processing industries and the chemical additives and Antibiotics and highly polluted feeds used in agribusiness! There is much to be weary of out there and once again we must rely on our own sensibilities and intutivenees to decide what to glean in this world of information and misinformation! Grog
