Okay, please read that again. You thought that Lying was the way to save my relationship? I also never thought that I would cheat either, and after I told my girlfriend the whole story she herself said that she dosen't consider it cheating exactly. She is aware that it wasn't my intent to end up in that situation. Do you not understand that sometimes people get themselves in really bad situations? Since you feel lying is the way to go, I truly feel sorry for you. You can never truly love someone if you think lying is a viable option. And in fact you can never truly trust someone else if you yourself would prefer to lie. So maybe your spouse lives by your code. Maybe they have been in a really bad situation and ended up being unfaithful (it is very possible) But don't worry, they'll never tell you because they want to save you from pain and distrust, instead they live a double life.
