I recently met some who started practicing the five rites after a suggestion. He complained of dizzyness. I asked him how many reps he was practicing, he was already up to 7 reps. I explainded that these excercises are very powerful and just like chanting God's Holy names, the effects may not be recognized right away, but still something is there and it is better to do less reps and slowly build a routine.
He actually started at the 3 reps and did the routine 3 to five times a day. He raved about how great the effects were by performing less reps more times in a day. Sort of like snacking on a few grapes many times a day, the hunger is satiated and the fire of digestion is still strong in burning away all the previous excess mucous.
