Also, think about yoga posture as you stand, walk, sit and go through your daily life. Yoga creates room for the organs by teaching us to lift out of our gut. If you learn to use yoga posture all day every day, people will think you lost weight.

My skin itched when it was dry and I did yoga. Coconut oil, applied after my morning shower, helps my skin. In the beginning, there is a reverse effect. While the skin exfoliates it gets rough and tender. After a while, the new skin is remarkably smooth, moist and glowing.

I have always had tight shoulders as well. Developing tricep strength really helped me balance my body. Downward Dog is a good asana for triceps. Lift weight off your shoulders into your middle back and extend though the tricep to the elbow. Relax the neck.

Enjoy! Yoga is a wonderful and even the simple poses have layers of discovery.
