Re: Far Infrared Sauna
Dear All,
I have been suffering from an injury from Prolotherapy three years ago. My low
back and whole sacriliac area is very swollen and sore. I walk all bent over
and I am in terrible pain. I have tried everything including many ideas on this
helpful forum. I finally turned to infrared sauna treatments and have found that
it is the only pain relief I have found. My back is so ridget from the Prolotherapy
that it is like frozen in place. The sauna seems to loosen it up and the heat
penetrates the the painful area with a warmth and comfort I have not experienced
before. The odd thing is that is the area that the Prolotherapy was shot in, when
I am in the sauna, that area emits a dry powder like substance and you can rub
it off like you would dirt. I am not sure what this is but I am happy to get the terrible
junk from the Prolotherapy out of there. He put in zinc and it was maybe 35 shots
of the stuff into the whole low back and hip areas. It is a cruel and horrible thing
to have done to you and it is more painful than child birth. I was going into a
health food/resturant to get the sauna treatments at 25 dollars a pop, but the place was
so dirty I really had a hard time to push myself there to do it. Because it was such
a benefit to me being in such terrible pain, my husband decided to purchase one
for me and it will be arriving in about 10 days. I will keep you posted as I get on
a program to detox and use it for pain relief. I am hopeful that it will be as good
as the ones I experienced at the place I used in Minneapolis. I heard from a
friend that others that have been injured from Prolotherapy have benefited from
it's use, so I am hopeful for the first time in three years.
I would urge anyone to try it for what ever pain they may have and other health
benefits are also to be enjoyed.
With hopes for better health for all,
Angela
