Re: Cause of bad breath--it's not what you think

I totally disagree with you. I'm not sure where you are getting your information from, but obviously you have not done enough research. If you do your homework, you will find diet can be a MAJOR factor in recovery from this horrible condition.
You stated "BB is an extreme exaggeration of the normal mouth odors. When any part of your body stinks, something is wrong with you emotionally. Any caveman would know that." Well, I TOTALLY disagree with that because that makes no sense whatsoever.
Emotions cannot CAUSE bad odors. I will say they can INTENSIFY the odors. For example, when someone already has an odor and they become nervous, the odor usually gets worse. Or if someone already has an odor and gets anxious, the odor gets worse as well. Emotions are not linked with the cause, the cause comes from something internal like bad foods, constipation, all the bad stuff we put into our bodies, etc.
Personally I wish the problem was as easy as emotions because if that is true I would NEVER smell. By nature I am a very calm, relaxed person and have learned to be that way even though I suffer from this disorder but I still reek so I know emotions have nothing to do with the cause.
Recently I have been changing my diet and I think that is the key. I am wishing myself luck and if others are doing that as well, good luck to you. Hope all of us find the cure for this terrible mess. Take care! :-)
