Now here is something I can agree with you on.

I looked at the constitution party once (it sure sounded good in theory) but their overtly religious tone turned me off.

I am surprised you voted republican as your previous post pegs you as a socialist. McCain certainly had more integrety than the other candidates at that time, however he represents a political philosophy that I generally loath (ie: Republicans)

I am right with you on the fact criminal big business must be curtailed. Taking away OUR freedom, and the average citizens ability to do business just to get THEM isn't the way to do it though.

Actually, I am more inclined to vote Nader than Libertarian in some ways (as a compassionate, caring and concerned person, he appeals to me, his socialist leaning aside) He would certainly be best at cleaning up the whorehouse of Washington politics and the cesspool of big business without destroying our civil liberties, however I feel we might end up getting regulated to death under a Nader administration and find ourselves with a nanny style of big brother instead of the fascist big brother we have now.

Sometimes you can't win...

Good idea. I don't know if the problem is the constitutional protections or the fact there is absolutely no oversight or accountability. Either way, something does need to be done. Current tax laws largely excempts corporations and encourages them to drain money from the American economy and put nothing back. That needs to be fixed too.
