Re: some other things to consider
You make some valid points.
I think , though, we both draw our conclusions from our own experience.
The only thing I really disagree with you on is that mostly single men view p 0 r n. I don't believe that is true and would really love to see some scientific stats on it...it would truly be interesting.
You are totally correct about the woman having more outlets. Many of those mags are p 0 r n though I haven't bought one in ages because I think they are pretty shallow and disgusting...with their talk of manipulating the other sex etal. I watched those soap operas at one point so I know what you are saying there. The biggest thing with them are the unrealistic expectations they foster. That happens with alot of the TV shows these days though which is why we don't have television in our hoe and havent for 18 years now.
I am quite sure that most p 0 r n users don't escalate into the more disgusting trash that my X chose to "enjoy." But the fact that this doies happen time and time again and when it does happen it is very destructive to normal relationships , should be enough to keep others away. I think, though, until you experience the destruction it is hard to understand.
I concur regarding the phallic shaped accessories (you used such tact)and could never bring myself to go to a male stripper show. I do notice when a handsome man walks by but I have to say I truly do not think about what it would be like to be with him or anything of that sort. When I fantasize I can't imagine anyone but my husband. I just don't think it's appropriate yto give someone else that place.
And as far as learning new techniques and such there are ways other than viewing p 0 r n to do that.
Thanks for the food for thought.
