Re: Kudzu Root

I have watched people I love die and or live their lives in agony trying to defeat the allergic reaction of alcohol. There are lots of herbal cures to other allergies. Collodial Silver helps me when I get stuffy. I know many alcoholics fear DT's more than anything. I wonder if Kudzu root could help in the detox process? I wonder also if the use of kudzu is not encouraged because it is a common herb and the drug industry can't make a buck on it? If everyone could detox on their own with kudzu, a lot of detox centers would go out of business. There may be a reason that Kudzu is not used by the industry because they may not really want to cure alcoholism. About half of the money made by alcohol pushers is made from alcoholics. It is like alternative energy. If it doesn't support big business, it will never see a market outside of the occasional weirdos.
I think if Zudzo studies showed promise, and they do, it could be helpful to at least detox with the tea. Maybe an addictive personallity type could become a kudzu root junkie? I am not against AA. I have been to several meetings with an alcoholic ex-wife and she has been to hundreds of AA meetings and several detox/treatment centers. Her biggest fear was the detox.
