Re: lower back pain with no name

My history:
1988 Injured back
1991 Had surgery, Doc shaved a few ruptured disk in my lower back.
1996 Had surgery, Doc shaved a few more ruptured disk in my lower back.
2004 my wife had our second baby and I had a hard time carying him.
Went to 4 months of weekly and by-weekly 20.00 ($400.00) trips to the chiro twisting me. Now I realize twisting isn't the thing to do.
2006 I'll be 41 in April. 2 years ago this month I was in so much pain that I though I had nothing to loose, so I started bridging. It felt so good, like an adjustment bridged 5 days a week for three months. But in the mornings my back was so stiff it took 30 minutes and a shower to loosen up. My back hurt so bad I stopped. I was a fool for trying it I thought. 2 weeks later my back pain was gone. I was excersing it too much. 2 years later and it is getting even stronger. My hip and other nerve pain is all but gone. It has truly been a miracle for me. It has been a life changing lesson. Arching hurt my back too but it works. I think it increases the flexability and strength at the same time. You must have both to fix your back. People thought I grew taller. You could start with a big swiss ball but that doesn't stengthen your back.
