Lemon pruning dream.....interesting!!

Thanks for your interpretations of my wounded puppy dream...I've been working through lots of stuff with it...definitely in big transformation times right now!

I wanted to say something about this lemon-pruning dream!! I totally chuckled when I first read it because of how it makes me look!! yikes.

"Look, I'll let you prune my lemon tree all you want. Just let me get the fruit off first, ok?"

I'd like to know how you interpret this dream...

What is feels like to me is...I am representing an aspect of yourself that you feel that is possibly rushing you to keep working, pruning yourself back...when what you want to do is bask in the joy (yellow) you've grown into...reap the harvest that you have sown...enjoy the fruits of your labour. But, NO, there I (aspect of yourself, too) am taking you to task saying: no pleasure (is there an aspect of yourself that doesn't want you to feel pleasure?)....ALL work! Keep pruning! Lemons also have an interesting connotation: when life gives you lemons, make lemonade - that kind of thing...kind of bitter-sweet or something, too.

Perhaps that has something to do with the black/white good/bad duality that is going on with you too?

Lemons: bitter/sweet ? Just a thought....

Also - the colour yellow is the colour of the SUN...your Sun Self energy...your Ego...Leo stuff...being in the spotlight, radiating your good energy...also intellectual....joy

Maybe you should write down the character traits that spring to mind when you think of me (don't tell me, please! ha)....and then see if you have those same qualities....and it is this inner aspect of yours that is making you feel rushed to keep working instead of enjoying the fruits of your labours!

And, Marj, you SHOULD bask in the sunshine of your healthy Self/Ego! You've earned it...enjoy yourself, feel pleasure...the dream says to me that you're dissolving some of that guilt, ya know?

Anyway...gotta get out into the sunshine and plant my tulips now!
