Re: MS and LDN

My wife was diagnosed last summer with MS and we have decided to have another child before going on any medication. Her neuro suggested she go on Avonex after the baby is born (next month). My wife doesn't like needles much and the side effects from Avonex from other testimonials sounds a lot worse than the flu like symtoms for 1 or 2 hours our neuro said would occur. I have been reading a lot about LDN and I would like to have her try it first, but our neuro won't prescribe it. I am currently looking for a doctor who will, I'm located in Toronto, Canada if you know anyone. Anyway, if I do find someone, I'm trying to determine what the appropriate dosage would be to start with, she weighs in around 120lbs (or should be after the baby is born). Tweet
