Re: Any thoughts on this subject?

Well you say you have alot of atheist friends. ONe person responding below said atheists were anti theists or anti religious/religion. I thought atheists did not believe in any God. If you talk about persons who are not of any religion... there are TONS of those. Persons who say there is no God are much smaller in number. Just thought I would distinguish that difference in my mind.

Anyhow. There is a wonderful book that brings Science and God together. It is called The Field. It is not for the non scientific. If your friends are scientific then they should understand it. However Science and God have been partners for a while. Physics is very spiritual. So if your friends are scientific they must not have read much in the physics realm lately.

There is much info on spirituality on the net. New spirituality. If one wants to find it ... it is not hard. If one wants to take a stand to just be different...then maybe atheism is what they want just to be the antagonist. Sometimes people just want to be heard and you can tell by the vibrations they give off if that is true. You can FEEL someone who is sincere and someone who is not. Go into your intuition. You can tell.
