I don't understand why you say it is "dying." Is it evolving? Yes, I think in some way it is. But it is definitely not dying. I don't believe in any organized religion. I don't think church buildings and rituals and fancy clothes and robes are what God intended at all. Jesus was poor and humble, and I think he is shaking his head saying, "This isn't what I had in mind at all." I can understand why people become atheists. I really can. I am not one of them. But I can understand how it happens. Just because you can't see something doesn't mean it isn't there. I also don't believe in hell. I don't think atheists will go to hell for not believing. I believe the criteria for getting in (and you'll forgive my humble opinion here) is how we treat one another. And quite honestly I don't see atheists and believers treating each other all that well. They just seem to get mad at each other. Like I said, my father is an atheist. It doesn't change the way I feel about him, and it doesn't change the way he feels about me, either. We can discuss it, and often do, without getting angry or insulting. I don't know. Just some thoughts. I don't know if atheists are any more arrogant than a lot of people I know. They just have their own beliefs. I hope something I've said makes sense. I will say one thing -- my own gut tells me there's in Intelligent Designer out there, and I trust my intuition more than any human I've ever met. Please don't argue. It doesn't get anyone anywhere but mad.
