Re: few are chosen

The only reason we are chosen is because we (regenerate believers) are in Christ.
He is The Chosen One of God, when we place our faith in Christ God the Father places us in Christ as individual members of His Body. Christ is chosen, therefore anyone who is in Christ is also chosen. It all comes down to saving faith, "whosoever will may come" and be saved, but if one rejects Christ (The Chosen One) there remains no other way to be chosen. God is not up there picking and chosing arbitrarily who will be saved and who will not, He looks at The Son and the members of His Body as Chosen and unbelievers as dead in there sins, with a desire that they would be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth. The bottom line is anyone can be chosen by faith alone in Christ alone.
