I felt goosebumps when I read this:

>>For someone to come to the Lord because they have been drawn by the promise of "blessings" will quickly fall away when they encounter suffering, persecution or loss.<<

It is so true.....and so, so sad.  There's no doubt that God blesses, but the focus on the kinds of blessings as taught by the modern North American church, may some day have tragic consequences.
