I agree with you on that point. When I listen to televangists, many of them talk about monetary issues, and not eough about repentance and salvation. My church pastor[now a bishop] talks about it all. He is very good, and he is truly anointed. But as finances is a part of our lives in a very real sense, it would be unwise to disregard it just b/c some people are corrupt.
