Providence and the Story of Joseph

Hi again,

Faith comes by 'hearing' the Word of God...

The MLJ book is excellent, but there is nothing quite like hearing the Word of God from a truly great preacher.

Providentially, Alistair Begg is teaching on the doctrine of Providence this week on his national radio broadcast. He is teaching on the story of Joseph.

From Alistair's website:

>>“In all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28<<

What is this “good” with a view to which God acts in our lives?

How are we to understand the fact that God has His hand in all our affairs?

What effect should the doctrine of providence have in our lives?

In this story of bitter jealousy, deceit, injustice and dramatic forgiveness, we have a classic outworking of the fact of God’s sovereignty over our affairs and of His providential care for those who are the objects of His love. Taking this journey with Joseph will help to view the good, the bad and the ugly things in our lives from a biblical and life-changing perspective.

You can order this excellent audio series from Alistair at the link below, or for a short time, you can still hear many of these glorious messages in his archives for free. Perhaps you can find him on a local Christian radio station in your area.
