I need to tell you something!!!


When I was in my country I used to pray and then I felt an incredible peace!

But I won the scholarship and I came to the USA to study my PhD and little by little I lost the peace I had!

Now when I pray I do not feel such peace anymore.

i think that I got caught in the world, with the excitement of a new life, and parties and trips!

Then later I was caught up by the obligations of my study and I lost the last piece of peace I had.

Regaining that peace requires rebuild the connection I used to have with God.

This connection requires a lot of prayers. I used to retire in retreats for the weekends sometimes or pray for hours.

I am trying to do it, I have had some success lately, since I am completely alone in my apartment.

Your post has given me a the confirmation that we are in the right track. It is incredible you are talking about peace when I now I have had it and that is what I need.

I cannot write more now, I need to work. I will post more later in the week.
