Could you please tell us why you had the fillings removed and whether it made a difference? My mouth is so full of amalgams, probably an average of 1 per year for 40 years, that I wonder if this is the cause of my problems. Also, I have probably at least eight root canals and many crowns. I wonder if it would be worth it to just pull all my teeth and get dentures. I'm 55 and the periodontist says I'll be able to keep my teeth if I keep them clean. Is there a place to read more about whether this really works?
My friend says her mother had her Amalgams removed and it didn't help her. I don't know the details.
I'm so confused about what to do -- so much effort to keep teeth all these years, only to feel I'd be better off without them!
