Great post!
> I will say though, that the "science" behind a salt water flush is that the EXACT salt/water ratio used supposedly gives the water the same specific gravity as blood, so it should, in theory, exert no osmotic effect.
This sounds very plausible to me at least. Very Interesting! The instructions of the
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) say that you should use as little salt as possible, so that would also correspond with what you are saying - little or no osmotic effect.
To be honest there isn't much difference between the amount of salt taken with water normally (1 teaspoon per quart), and the amount of salt taken in a flush (2 teaspoon per quart). Again this supports what you are saying.
> Thing is, in my experience, biochemists don't usually know much about how a whole human body works or how to maintain good health.
Thats refreshingly honest of you to say. Guess what? Doctors don't know diddly about how a whole human body works or how to maintain good health either. I know - my older brother is a doctor - a good one too (Harley Street). He has come to *me* for advice about his health problems (short term memory loss).

Yes he was persecuted by the authorities - who were the church at the time. Now the "authorities" are the scientific community.
Thanks for that great post. Its not my forum, but you are welcome here anytime.
