Re: to jys124

So, we are cousins. That is so funny. I live in California and the mormons here are a little more open minded. Plus, I think that me having messed up their vision of mormon perfection, really made them think. Deep down, a lot of them don't beleive but they have too much at risk. Think about what they would lose. All of their friends and family... It is just so hard to conteplate how to deal with the great loss. Fortunatley for me, after I left me younger brother and sister followed my lead. My older brother married mormon and now he drops subtle hints about not believing. He keeps holding on pending some kind of revalation, although, his intellect will keep him from ever fully beleiving. I feel really sorry for him. Now he too is trapped. I am so glad that I am not. If you want to email me my address is j.young @ youcell.com. The reason it is more pleasant for me to be around them is that their errogance vanished some years back. I used to hate being around the "arrogant mormons." I don't know why they changed, but I believe it was because of me and my siblings leaving the church. They were taught to not associate with ex-mormons, and that just wasn't an option for them. Shortly after the arrogant I'm right and you're wrong stigma just vanished. I am greatful that God changed them. They are accepting of my beleifs and I put up with theirs. :)
