I've felt invisible all my life! I still feel invisible in front of my family especially and I'm 41!! My sister is the great spokeswoman of the family, a great debater who is taken very seriously, but I'm more boring., so I dont get noticed.

It bothered me lots when I was your age, Now I get disgusted and interrupt thier conversation at the dinner table and say, "excuse me, but I feel like a ghost over here!!!" That shuts them up and gets me heard. Im now at the age where I am more assertive than I ever was. I realize we are ALL valuable- and man has no right to say who is and who isnt.

Everyone needs to feel acknowledged. You are no different. Your experiences at your age right now make things feel worse, because you are just starting out.

As far as that girl you are attracted to is concerned., if she is the right one for you, she will notice you- If she is the wrong one for you, she isnt worth the time of day-- and if you got her, you would end up miserable from her later (thus all the divorce out there). Let nature take its course with the right girl meant for you.

I just want you to know that you are important in this life., and when you start feeling invisible, remember this allegory in Nature. The Sun doesnt only shine on the tall Redwood trees, but it shines on the tiniest weed poking through a sidewalk crack. The Sun and that weed actually "communicate" back and forth to each other so to speak for chlorophyll

If a weed is just as noticed by the Sun as a RedWood Tree, so to are the most seemingly insignificant humans to our Creator. If you werent meant to be alive, you wouldnt have been allowed to sneak through the birth canal- simple as that.

You have a purpose that is unfulfilled on this planet yet. Shame on you if you disrupt that purpose! Who are we humans to tell God we arn't capable of serving any purpose? Let Him decide that, not yourself.
