I wouldn't say the BEST way, but certainly A way. Not for everyone though. It can help stabalise eating patterns for a WHILE, get over the binging and vomitting perhaps, for some, but this does not work for everyone. I have included a link to (I think) a great site, have a look around it, its got some very interesting reading in it re raw food and eating habits/diets written by people that have tried them, their experiences etc.
For anyone thinking of trying this, I'd say, read up on it first, as much as you can. The internet is a great learning tool, but don't believe everything you read, some sites are very biased.
