I take the flaxseeds whole. I think for constipation that is best but don't quote me. If you want more nutrients from them then crush them. I have also read that if you crush and soak them in a glass of water, let it soak for 30 mins then drink it, this is best both for constipation and the nutrition content, however I find this very slimey and unpalatable.
Start making your own kefir, it is so easy, so inexpensive and I think it can only be doing me good. If you go into google and type in Dom's kefir making, you should find all the info you need there. Good Luck.
