I am also type A and I find the candida diet very hard to stick to because I cannot digest protein. What I have used for constipation and I find works very well is flax seeds. Take as many as you want. I usually find 3 teaspoons 3 times a day with lots of water really helps. They are also full of minerals and vitamins and good for high cholesterol. Peanuts I beleive are a no, no because of the mold content, I am unsure of others. Seeds might be better like pumpkin.
Kefir is also very good for candida and I also read that if you culture it for less than 20 hours this can help with constipation.
