The digestive enzymes (good ones) will have the betaine in them ... so those plus bile salts ... take as you sit to eat with a nice 6-8 0z glass of water. Then just eat.
With both digestive enzymes and bile salts, always think about if you NEED them with each meal. With a raw veggie meal, chances are you're getting enough enzymes with the veggies, so no need. And if that veggie meal has little or no fat, no need to overwhelm your system with bile salts.
My approach is always to SUPPORT your system ... not TAKE OVER with supplements. Does that make sense? I have this "use it or lose it" mentality ... I don't want to replace what my body SHOULD be doing - just want to lend a hand and move it along when I know it's overwhelmed.
