Re: thrush????

Hi Jake,
i thought it worth pointing out that, when I discussed my iron levels with my doctor, my tests having come back 'normal', I was told that the margin the health service uses if very broad. In other words, they work within parameters that don't constitute a danger to health. So, if you have enough iron in your body to retain a covering of hair on your head, and provide enough energy to get to the bathroom and back, then you are OK!

He advised me that, being at the low end of 'normal', that he would not prescribe iron supplements for me, but if it was him, he would go out and buy some.

It seems to my that if you don't have something that is a danger to health, a doctor will call you healthy. AIDS patients cured in a few weeks with diflucan? Sure, but are they cured for ever, or is their candida just going to grow back like mine did after diflucan?

Also, did they have leaky gut etc etc etc? all these things make it harder to get rid of it. Being female makes it harder to get rid of because oestrogen promotes candida and makes it nice and strong!

I understand how you feel. I would LOVE to take diflucan for a week or three, and know I would be cured at the end of it. But experience tells me this will not happen.

I liked you comment about carrots. I was eating kilos of them before I realized why! I got die off when I stopped.

Its a nightmare. If you don't have candida then I hope you find out what it is you have, and let us know.

FIona
