Re: thrush????
Hi Jake,
Well, you do bring an interesting argument, and then again so does Michelle, so I am not sure. I want to point out, though, that I have not been on this site for all THAT long - maybe about 3 years, lol! But it sure SEEMS like 10, ha ha. I do still believe that I have yeast, but I am open to reconsideration. I believe for me it is hard to get rid of because 1) I am a type 1 diabetic and thus my system is pretty sugary, and 2, I have a problem in my liver phase 2 pathway that keeps waste/toxins from being eliminated, and that attracts candida, so I end up going in circles UNLESS I have a very tight balance between my candida killing supps, my diabetes regimin and my phase 2 liver pathway, being careful not to exceed my body's ability to detox. I agree digestion is tres important. In fact, I believe one of the reasons my candida resurged (it was actually gone for over a year and a half, and I was only dealing with a toxcity issue for a while) was because I stopped taking my digestive enzymes and HCL, and I did notice a backsliding in my digestion, but I am back on the enzymes and HCL now since about March. When I get thrush, it does bleed if I scrape at it :( Also, when my thrush comes back, so does vaginal itching, so that also says candia to me, unless I am totaly missing the boat.
Someone once had a perfect explanation to the AIDS patients getting better issue, but I doubt I would be able to find it now. I will try though.
That being said though, lets just suppose you are correct. What, besides the HCL and enzymes can we do to improve this? I can think of chewing really well, not drinking liquids with meals. Anything else?
