God and religion dont mix
I used to be an athiest years ago- until I found Jesus Christ is very much alive--outside of religion.
Religion is man's good intentions of trying to get something organized in God's name.
Religion is like the Tower of Babel. It creates tons of confusion which leads to corruption. It all starts when people start saying, "Let US!" instead of saying "Let God".
The Crusades and witch burning were examples of Man-made Religion -- without God having anything to do with it.
Lots of churches and organizations were built in God's name and God had nothing to do with them- nor wanted them built in the first place.
God just wants people to focus on Him (I prefer saying "Him"- yet God also has female qualities as well) and let Him tell us what the best choices should be in any given matter.
Traditions and rituals are all nonsense and have no place with God--and are more masonic cultish than anything.
Also- He doesnt go for people trying to convert others for Him- the Holy Spirit doesnt need us to speak for Him. Actually, God prefers we just learn what it means to truly love our fellow being-- including animals and plants- Love knows no bounds.
The only way we can love is by focusing our attention on God as a plant does to the Sun. Loving God will open the channels for us to love everyone else--including our selves.
Keeping our eyes focused on the Creator- and letting Him speak to people's hearts instead of us trying to be His spokesman. If He leads us to say something fine--but most times He would rather we desire to remain unknown and let our actions speak for themselves.
Im not saying God wont use a religion- He condescends to use anything out of compassion and pity to us--to meet us at our level. But we have to learn to grow beyond our level and love God without religion or crutches-- as a little child.
