You can do it alienlady! I hear your frustration though. Cooking in large batches is the way to go if you work 10 or more hours a day. You can freeze individual portions. Soup is great to take to work. A chicken veggie soup would translate to the FFP, I'm sure. A few hours on the weekend can save alot of time, and get the kids (and husband for that matter) involved with cooking, it's fun!
by the way, I do grab a ganola bar on my way out to work, only I make mine from raw organic fruits, nuts, and suppliments on the weekend. I can mix a batch of about 40 of them in 10 minutes, stick them in the dehydrator and voila! Instand breakfast fo weeks, costing me about 50 cents a bar.
There are a lot of tricks to eating fast and healthy, but it can be done. 3 years and 55 lbs later I'm very happy for it.
