I ate a fabulous steak the night before I began the Master Cleanse, sort of like a "last supper". I did the fast 30 days and then of course broke by the book and did stay relatively clean, eating sensibly. I found that your taste buds become resensitized and of course your stomach shrinks and your appetite is more under control so I tend to not overdo anything now. I eat meat still but it is in combination with veggies and fruit. So, hopefully you will find some balance in your eating habits. The cleanse will be fine for your exercise too. On the days you feel cruddy, just back off and dont push since the exercise you will be doing the most of during the cleanse is sweeping out your guts and flushing the kidneys and liver.
