Break by the book! After the third day (OJ am, soup for lunch, soup again for dinner if you don't want to eat fruit or salad)... start adding foods a little at a time, continuing to eat this way til digestion is reestablished.
You will know digestion is reestablished when your bowels move normally on their own.
Try adding raw vegetables a little at a time, chewing very well. If this doesn't sit well, just eat the soup.
