They are alive. I first noticed the so called morgellons fibers a few years ago and didn't pay much attention to anything else until I noticed the same type worm after rollin my body with a lint roller. Ever so often I fell something tickling inside my ear canal and I use a wet QTip to swab it out. I then use a magnifier to find them on the QTip as they are ivory in color. They seem to have a straight neck with a head on one end and a sharp tail on the other with a wavy body. They will slightly move for the first couple of seconds after captured. I have pulled them from every opening in my body at times. I have also noticed them covering my scalp, when I reverse comb my hair I can see them on the edge of the comb. I believe they are the Morgelons female worms as I have seen the thin fiber like worms wrapped around while moving around.
