My cataracts were finally at a point that I needed to deal with them. I'm 72, on no medications and try to avoid doctors but I knew (I THOUGHT) that cataract surgery was a safe, simple relatively non-invasive procedure. I'll skip to the chase...apparently, I have some permanent damage to the optic nerve. I was told, "Sometimes that happens. We don't know why."
Ohhhh...okay, then.
I'm going to see a neuro-opthamologist for a thorough examination when this pandemic mess slows down. Right now, I'm using lanosterol for my other eye and perusing this board for otc ideas.
