Can't judge about what has been found by chemists, biochemists or others, that has not been tested by the eye profession : but pharmaceutical laboratories would have great interests in developing eyedrops or other remedies that would work if it was possible, and not all of them make IOLs, glasses or contact lenses, nor have they shares in, or links with, the "surgical industrial world", isn't it ?
I have read most of your posts I think (sometimes a bit difficult for me till now), but I fear that these discoveries you mention were not efficient enough to be widely used so far (or is it only maybe ?)...
Most of all, I can't really allow myself to spend an other 10 years trying this and that, to end up being about where I am now, with my filthy lenses (or even praying St-Streetlamps to forgive my sins and walk away -!?-), when I can have a chance maybe of getting rid of damaged lenses by good and well meaning professionals pretty soon...
In our country cataract surgery is usually almost free for most many, and seems quite safe from what I hear.
You may be right to believe treatments that work could be available if the eye profession would only bother taking a serious look at it, but I don't believe I can succeed where many specialists have failed or given up. And I hope it's not mislead confidence to believe in some doctors' I know, fair intentions when I do. Tweet
