Having a family member who does not believe that the Holy Spirit is a person of the Trinity, I'm familiar with the idea and have been exposed to many "reasons" for why they believe that way. But I have to admit once I realized that this belief also affected the more pentecostal/charismatic side of the church, I was really shocked and a little scared to be honest. At least my relative believes the bible to be completely true...they just understand it differently than I do. They also believe that Jesus was deity, not just a man. It was only the Holy Spirit that was not believed to be anything more than the power of God. So are you in full agreement with Trapper?
