Biting gnat

I'm beginning to notice that the connection to a biting gnat is becoming a running theme in a lot of these cases, including my own.
I'm beginning to seriously think that the cause is some type of onchocerca. Namely, Cervicalis but there are a few other possibilities in the same family.

Thoughts?
