Been totally off supplements for a few months now and a few days ago I tried a couple scoops of collagen peptides and sure enough I could sense my first outbreak symptoms coming on in several months within less than a day. As soon as that happened I took a half dozen monolauren capsules and by morning it seemed to subside. Read that vitamin c also helps so I started taking camu camu powder which really isn't a supplement so I'm going to keep taking it and try the collagen once more to see if I can take it without any symptoms. Thinking maybe of trying the monolaurin as a prevention like in my first post to see of that works too. Sometimes I get tired of reading comments that collagen will not contribute to an outbreak when I am certain it does. At least for me anyway...
