Re: Glycine to treat high cortisol?
You asked about glycine and linked Ray Peat. Have you actually tried gelatin or not?
Post your history and how/when your problems started and I'll look at it.
Eating healthy doesn't mean anything at all. Eating appropriately for your problem is better. Diet is just one avenue.
I always tell people to start with a hair mineral test from tei/arl/doctor's data.
Take your basal temp every day a few times especially first thing when you wake up, make sure you're 98.6f or over.
The 'Ray Peat' diet, which actually does not exist except as a creation by people on that forum, is a good thing to try. If it doesn't help you then dump it.
If you have a lot of gi symptoms post on both
parasite forums.
Try some adaptogens like licorice, rhodiola, ashwaghanda. Experiment with increasing amounts of vit. c. Supplement pantothenic acid, royal jelly, egg yolks.
What was the trigger?
Antibiotics ? moving? vaccine? vacation in exotic lands? moldy house? dental work? lifestyle?
