Re: Glycine to treat high cortisol?

A Cutler, PhD Chemistry, in his book Amalgam Illness on heavy metal detox presents a diagram of liver breakdown pathways and the substances handled by each. The content of the Liver Phase II information is from Great Smokies Lab

It says cortisol is broken down by sulfation.

Epsom Salt (magnesium sulfate), glucosamine sulfate are ways to promote levels of sulfate. the mineral molybdenum will help the body to convert more sulfite (with an I) to sulfate. If you are sensitive to foods high in phenols, support for sulfation may also be helpful and may make you feel calmer. It was helpful to me.

It also says steroid hormones are broken down by glucorindation. There's a supplement available to support that pathway.
