Except that if memory serves, he did ask for advice. As I recall, he was worried about k depletion at the very least, if not other matters as well. I simply extended the 'prospectus'. And as you say, I had an eye on others in a similar situation. 

I'll make a point of avoiding posting on any of his threads in future. Cranky or not, there's no excuse for that kinda response when someone is only trying to help.

He came across as an unreconstructed ingrate, & I'm afraid I don't suffer them too gladly.
