The 10kg in 10 days is a huge loss with a 16:8 IF.
I was eating once in several days and still only managed a 3/4lb a day.
Anyway your metabolism slows due to eating carbs and creating insulin which signals your body to store fat. You need to cut off that insulin and force your body to burn all you eat. The way to do that is to eat fat.
Fat = calories coming in, and no insulin = no storage mechanism. So automatically metabolism goes up and you stop feeling cold and lethargic.
I'm a Dr Fung fan too. Some times he contradicts himself, but I've repeatedly seen this recommendation. When cold, eat - fat, when lethargic - eat fat. When you're hungry, eat fat.
16:8 - you can pretty much stretch that into 23:1 and then to 48:1 and then to whatever:1 via eating fat. Butter, coconut oil, olive oil, MCT oil, avocado oil, Pure fat mayo (dukes is good), anything you like. Pure fat and no other macros.
