Correct concentration
You're right. I just did some research and there's one study which states that it found 1%
Epsom Salt dilution to be best for absorption, or 1g per 100ml of water. You would be right then as a cup is 236.588ml, and so as the ratio is 1:1, you'd need ~2.4g of
Epsom Salt per half cup.

The container I've been using for the past week or more is about 210ml probably, so I'm going to have to use about 2 to 2.2g of salt. In teaspoons this is roughly a half, though different websites vary, I suppose because they have different sized teaspoons. I'm going to go with a half anyway because it should be close enough.
Now, it's funny because I've been using way more than that amount, especially recently. If a teaspoon is 4g, as some sites say (I've ordered a scale btw which should arrive tomorrow), then for a week or more I've been using 16g, which in a 210ml container is 8 times the optimal concentration. So I've been soaking in 8%
Epsom Salt saline solution ^^'. Now the study doesn't say at what point above this ideal concentration the effects are significantly affected, but it does simply say that above the optimal inadequate effects are observed.
Sooo,, this could be a reason as to why myself and sirpreis haven't yet benefited. The only thing to consider would be that lips most likely absorb differently to the regular skin of the body, which is what the study is actually commenting on. I'll try anyway.
