Re: Benefit/Risk Usefulness of various "Kill" antimicrobials used to treat dysbiosis

These oils are excellent antifungals. As a bonus they do not kill the good friendly bacteria (probiotics) in the gut.

I will say again that the most important thing in dealing with candidiasis is DIET. Antifungals is second. If you are diligent in these, perhaps after 3 months you can progress to the restore and replace phase where probiotics and prebiotics will bring back balance to the gut biome.

Most of the yeast lives in the colon and I am a big believer in enemas for this. After having bowel movement, do a couple of cleanse enemas. Water and ACV plus salt is fine. It doesn't really matter that much what kind of enema you use for cleanse as long as it is somewhat acidic. Never use baking soda. The purpose is to get as much poo out of the colon as possible. After cleanse you do a retention enema. You can do either a nystatin enema using about 1\2 teaspoonful of nystatin powder OR you can do a saccharomyces boulardii enema using about 3 capsules in distilled water. dvjorge who was an expert contributor here on the Candida Forum was a BIG proponent of doing saccharomyces boulardii retention enemas. Saccharomyces boulardii is a yeast but not pathogenic. It is the active ingredient in Florastor. It acts powerfully against canida. But because it is a yeast you cannot mix it with antifungals. So you would not want to mix nystatin (or any antiungal) with saccharomyces boulardii. With retenion enemas you do not expel them. You let the solution stay up there. So don't make a giant retention enema solution because you won't be able to hold it. Start with 4 oz. and if no problems you can move up to 6 oz.

I am completely cured of candida now and let me tell you, it was the hardest thing I've ever done. I almost gave up. I now believe that it can be cured in 6 months for really bad cases, 3 months for typical cases. Good luck.

Candida become pathogenic in basic pH conditions and is benign in acidic environments. Don't believe people who suggest taking baking soda or anything to raise pH when dealing with candida. Your gut needs acid to digest food PROPERLY and to create a hostile environment for pathogens. Betaine HCl tablets would be a good idea to take as a supplement.
