Tho Pharma companies are still fighting to propagandize Silvers internal use dangers to MDs (and subsequently to their patients via word of mouth).
They must've lost a big part of the war on Silver as infection fighter when the companies that make wound dressings started adding silver (just as Dr R Becker did 60+ years ago) to their products. So now even generic band aid strips advertise Silver's infection fighting qualities on the packaging.
