Just to clarify, candida albicans is opportunistic. It serves a useful purpose in its bacterial form. But in the right conditions it will mutate into its fungal form, which is invasive and creates a lot of toxicity. When people talk about "candida", they're talking about the fungal form.

I have found that a big part of healing from candida is fixing the damaged gut lining. L-Glutamine is helpful. I also found that drinking strong Comfrey leaf tea helped heal a lot.
