I have suffered from debilitating candida for two decades. I am now well on the way to being cured thanks to candida cell wall inhibitor.But I have found that I can take high doses of sulphur products such as MSM and Cysteine with no ill effects as they inhibit parasites and have a long history of doing so.BUT...... as for Taurine yes it does cause problems, as does the amino acid Arginine. As someone else stated you were probably experiencing the herxheimer reaction which easily could be misconstrued as feeding candida,when in fact it is well known that candida symptoms will recur on and off as they are being killed.
