ive got the same condition since i was young id say when i was 13 and had this for near 9-10 years . my skin on my lower lip use to get really bad and form into a hard skin which splits when i stretch it and i use to peal it to give it fresh air. i suspect this is caused from lack of vitamins and moisture which is why dry skin forms. there have been a few times where it was fully healed and looked like a normal lower lip but then when you take a shower or bath. it tends to dry out your skin again. if you dont apply some sort of cream to keep it moisturized. hopefully this information helps. i still have it now till this day. but hopefully ill be able to sort this issue out. ive only got to a doctor once regarding this and they gave me.fucibet cream , then i went to HC45 cream which helped alot but now they stopped selling them in stores without a prescription. ive now gone to dermalex repair. which is eczema cream . with a vitamin C skin repair which i got from a health store.
