PS. For the first three rounds of DEC I developed some nausea and explosive diarrhoea. I have been on it this time for four weeks with no side effects.

I think it is highly possible it was working on bacteria or parasites in the gut.

It is also used to kill filariasis.

I think it is well worth trialling it and adding it to whatever med seems to work on the adults for your bug.

I don't think any one med can clear up the problem. All stages have to be targeted at once.

Mind you, I have been using these meds for over four years so I have developed a sense of control and what to expect.

The albendazole I took for months made me so ill I thought I was dying. I think now it only worked on the nymphs. None of anything except DEC has worked on the eggs,and the results are so obvious and immediate.
